Each year more than 500 companies attend and participate at the summit. This year, The Mirage Las Vegas hosted the 2021 Summit AED and Witzco Trailers was part of the event as an exhibitor and sponsor. Long time distributors, Michael Vazquez, MBA, Frederika Vazquez and Josh Ricart from Meco Miami, David and Laura Moore from Yellow Iron Wholesalers, Josh Weinstein and Shami Jimenez from Witzco Challenger Trailers, Inc. attended the AED Summit gala dinner where they met Former Congress House Speaker Representative Paul Ryan.
The AED Foundation constructs pathways to opportunity for the equipment distribution industry with one goal in mind: to grow and develop support for our members. The AED Foundation Fundraising Gala is an event specifically for generous supporters of The AED Foundation (AEDF). Last year, the AED Foundation improved the availability of future industry employees by expanding its network of accredited diesel-equipment technology college programs and recognized high school programs, promoting the importance of investment in career and technical education programs, and working to increase awareness and interest among school-age students.
2022 AED Summit is planned for January 16 to 19, 2022 at the Disney Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Fla.
