Las Vegas, NV — CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 proved to be a standout event for Witzco Challenger Trailers, marking a successful and dynamic presence at one of the world’s largest construction and heavy equipment trade shows.
What began months in advance as a strategic decision to participate quickly evolved into a full-scale effort to determine which equipment would best represent the company’s capabilities in the heavy-haul and lowboy trailer industry. The goal was clear: bring trailers that not only perform, but also make a statement.
After careful planning, Witzco Challenger selected two lowboy trailers that captured the attention of attendees and demonstrated the company’s commitment to craftsmanship, durability, and innovation.
Leading the display was the NGB 55-ton lowboy trailer, measuring 53 feet in total length with a 26-foot load bed and 2″ camber. Built with a Cush Suspension Yoke Mount Air Ride system, automatic height control, and a manual raise/lower kit across three Hendrickson axles, this unit delivered both performance and versatility. Equipped with 12-255/70 R22.5 aluminum wheel assemblies, the trailer featured an extensive list of custom options, including a gooseneck with 4 ride height positions, hydraulic neck support, Honda 13HP pony motor with a combo wet line kit, Sealco sealed wire harness, expanded metal toolbox, underrun bumper, 60″ axle spacing, lift axle on the third axle, lockable storage, Peterson LED lighting, mid-turn signals, strobe package, front flip ramps with flush bed hooks, welded covered wheels, bucketwell, boom trough “V” bumper, Air-Weigh quick-way scale system, planed and stained 2″ white oak lumber decking, and a sleek acrylic enamel black finish.
Complementing this unit was the NGB 35-ton lowboy trailer, with a total length of 50’6”, a 24-foot load bed with 1½” camber, and a gooseneck with 4 ride height positions, hydraulic neck support and Honda 13HP pony motor. Featuring tandem Hendrickson axles with 10-stud unimount hubs, Cush Air Ride suspension with automatic height control and raise/lower functionality, and 8-255/70 R22.5 wheel assemblies. This trailer also showcased a wide range of custom features. These included a Sealco sealed wire harness, WABCO ABS brakes, expanded metal toolbox, 36” beavertail, 24” x 60” manual self-cleaning spring-assisted ramps, center lumber, front flip ramps with flush bed hooks, welded covered wheels, planed and stained 2″ white oak lumber decking, and a bold viper red finish.
Together, these trailers represented more than just specifications — they embodied the strength, precision, and reliability that define Witzco Challenger. Their detailed design and customization drew strong interest from visitors and positioned the company as a standout presence on the CONEXPO show floor.
Behind the scenes, the success of the exhibit was driven by a dedicated team. Owner Josh Weinstein, alongside valued dealers Carlos Lopez (Sarasota International Trading) and Mike Tilley (Budget Truck Center), worked closely to ensure every detail was executed flawlessly — from initial setup to final presentation.
Throughout the show, held from March 3rd through March 7th, the Witzco team connected with industry professionals from across the United States and around the globe. The reach extended beyond expectations, highlighting the company’s growing presence in international markets and reinforcing its reputation for delivering high-quality lowboy trailers.
The experience strongly reflected the company’s guiding principle:
“Challenger meets all challenges.”
Witzco Challenger’s participation was made possible through the collaboration of its production team, dealers, suppliers, and partners. Despite the challenges faced along the way, the result was a highly successful event filled with meaningful connections and lasting impressions.
The work doesn’t stop when the show ends — it continues in every mile ahead, every challenge faced, and every trailer built to perform where it matters most.
